Keyboard Kickstart: Ages 8-15 Group Piano Lessons for Young Musicians June 30, 2023

Keyboard Kickstart is a group piano class for young musicians offered by Grosse Pointe Music Academy. This class is designed to provide an introduction to piano playing for kids and tweens in a fun and engaging way.

Over the course of 6 weeks, students will learn the basics of playing the piano, including hand position, posture, and basic music theory. The class will cover note-reading, rhythm, and playing with both hands, building a strong foundation for future playing.

The class will be taught by experienced instructors who specialize in working with young students. The instructors will use a variety of teaching methods, including group instruction, individual attention, and self-paced learning, to help students develop their skills.

By the end of the course, students will have learned to play several songs, developed basic music theory skills, and gained the confidence to continue their piano education. Additionally, students will have made connections with their fellow students and instructors, building a sense of community and support.
