Nick Holder is a performing artist from the Metro-Detroit area. Along with saxophone, he is proficient in his flute and clarinet playing. Nick has received his Bachelor degree in Jazz Studies at the prestigious Michigan State University program. At Michigan State, Nick studied with some of the best saxophone adjudicators such as Diego Rivera and Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra tenor, Walter Blanding. He has shared the stage with legends such as: Melissa Aldana, Nicole Glover, Wycliffe Gordon, Sean Dobbins, Rodney Whitaker, Paul Keller’s Jazz Orchestra, and many more. Nick is also versed in the musical theater world having played Legally Blonde and Seussical the Musical. Regardless of the musical setting, Nick Holder has proven himself to be a crucial part of any group and is always looking to make the music shine.
