In addition to his teaching experience, Sean is also an active performer, playing with the Toledo, Dearborn, and Plymouth orchestras, as well as the musical troupe La Compagnie. He has been playing the violin since he was 7 years old, and cites his current teacher, Kypros Markou, as his favorite. Kypros is not only a talented violinist, but also a conductor of orchestras. Sean has also been greatly influenced by the renowned violinist Hilary Hahn, who he cites as his favorite musician.

To continually improve his own skills, Sean participates in a 100-day practice project each year, showcasing his dedication to his craft. He is eager to pass on his love and knowledge of music to his students, and help them reach their own musical goals and dreams.
