Tristan Russano

Tristan Russano is a graduate of Grosse Pointe Music Academy, where he started taking lessons at the age of 12. He is a talented musician, with 15 years of experience as a guitarist and 6 years as a pianist. Tristan also played stand-up bass for 7 years under James Gross at Grosse Pointe South. During his sophomore year, he received a scholarship to attend Interlochen Music Camp, where he studied with Bobby Koeble, the lead guitarist of the band Death. Tristan has performed in several musical groups, including the Wayne State Guitar Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, rock bands, and the Tri-M Music Honor Society orchestra. He earned a BA in Music with a full scholarship. Currently, Tristan is the lead guitarist and main composer for the band Forge the Sun. He is also the guitarist of Blood Rune Sigil, and lead guitarist Big Four tribute: Slayer, Mega Death, Thrasher, and Metallica.
