Evan Veasey

Evan Veasey is a talented music teacher specializing in guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, piano, and mandolin. With a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Michigan, Evan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his teaching. He is well-versed in all musical styles, including blues, rock, pop, country, funk, soul, jazz, hard rock/metal, and folk, and has a special expertise in jazz, blues, and fingerstyle acoustic guitar.

Evan has been teaching music in the Southeast Michigan area since 2015 and moved to Grand Rapids Michigan in 2020 and then to Asheville, North Carolina. Despite the move, he has maintained a small virtual studio on Zoom since the start of the pandemic and is now offering virtual lessons to students.

In addition to his work as a teacher, Evan is a successful solo artist with a singer-songwriter record out in spring 2022 and a founding member of the Detroit-based Indie Rock band Fallow Land.
