Ian Blunden is a versatile music educator and jazz musician based in Detroit, Michigan. With a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Wayne State University, Ian brings his passion for music to the students at the Grosse Pointe Music Academy Clinton Township Location. He offers lessons in guitar, bass guitar, piano and drums, and tailors his approach to meet the needs and interests of each student. Ian's experience performing at historic venues such as Cliff Bells, The Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe, and the Detroit Jazz Festival, as well as his experience working with professional musicians across the state, has solidified his skills as a versatile musician and educator.
