Are you a music enthusiast looking to break free from the daily grind and dive into the world of jamming? Grosse Pointe Music Academy is thrilled to offer our exciting "Rock, Blues and Brews" evening class, designed for guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and drum players!
Join us every Tuesday night from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM for an 8-week session starting September 10th. This class is perfect for beginner to early-intermediate musicians who want to learn the basics of reading chord progressions found in many popular songs and get hands-on jamming experience with other players.
In "Rock, Blues and Brews," you will:
- Learn Chord Progressions: Each week, you'll master new chords and changes, essential for jamming to various songs.
- Jam Together: Enjoy the camaraderie of playing with fellow musicians, sharing tips and improving together.
- Follow Along Easily: Course materials will be provided, including variations of each exercise, ensuring everyone can participate regardless of their prior experience.
To kick things off, we'll provide beer on the first night! After that, feel free to bring your own or we can rotate who brings the brews. Of course, we always encourage responsible drinking.
